I want to share a picture of my family for they are truly my life's greatest work. I am so proud of my children, each one a shining star, and so deeply grateful to Hashem for the many blessings in my life. My grandfather, was a great and humble man, and he showed me the way to happiness by honoring and respecting one's wonderful wife. I cannot thank my wife enough for steering our family towards success.
Rabbi Akiva told his students that all of his learning and all of their learning all belonged to his wife! This statement captured the reality that without the faith and encouragement of his wife, Rabbi Akiva would not have amounted to anything more than a simple shepherd. Because of her self-sacrifice, the whole world has been enriched by the deepest of the deep truths of the Torah of Rabbi Akiva. In one sentence:
Love Your Neighbor as Yourself- This is a Great Principle of the Torah! Whom can you love like yourself? The mostly likely candidate is your wife!
